Fall

Fall is one of the greatest times of the year,

The time when we have turkey, potatoes, and beer.

The leaves change and fall to the ground,

And we help to rake them up in great large mounds.

The air changes into a light breeze,

The mothers howler, "Get a jacket on please!"

The great yummy apples just hanging up in the sky,

Until the cook comes along, and bakes them into a delicious pie.

Fall is a season that we all enjoy,

Ok yep huge fail with my part of not posting for like millons of years, but I had to post sometime about my awesome bothers and sister's birthdays which I didn't post about so I'll just type a few loving words about them.

First Brandon, thanks for always telling me that I can't sing with you that really encouraged me to keep singing. Second I think you're a great guy thanks for being my older brother that is not too tall to pick on. Anyways all that to say is I hope you had a great birthday, and I hope you enjoyed my carrot cake. May all your wishes come true. xoxoxo

Next is Oliver, thanks for always telling me that I need to learn piano so that I could become a great musician and read lots of music. I hope this next year is a blast for you, thanks for being my brother. I love you tons. xoxo

Last but not least........Elaine. Thanks for taking care of me and Jenny when Mom and Dad weren't there ,and I'll have many memories of of when you would take care of us. Running with the Giants

I turned 60 last year and I've found that when you become 60, you become a philosopher about life. What I thought I would do in beginning this message, today, is I would read something to you that would explain life because we all have questions about life. And here's the great news - on this laminated card I'm holding, everything you ever wanted to know about life is right here. When anything's important, I laminate it. I think it sets it apart, makes it holy. If I had been Moses, going up Mt. Sinai, I would have laminated the Ten Commandments. I certainly wouldn't have put them on stone; those will break.
If you want to know about life, here it is on this card. This is what it says:
On the first day, God created the dog. God said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes by and I'll give you a lifespan of 20 years." The dog said, "That's too long to be barking. Give me ten years and I'll give you the other ten back," and God agreed.
On the second day, God created the monkey, and God said, "Entertain people, do monkey tricks, make them laugh. I'll give you a 20-year lifespan." The monkey said, "How boring. Monkey tricks for 20 years? I don't think so. The dog gave you back ten, so that's what I'll do, too, okay?" And God agreed.

So, that is why the first 20 years of our lives we eat, sleep, play, and enjoy ourselves. For the next 40 years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next 10 years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. For the last 10 years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everybody that goes by. You have just had life explained to you.

A sleepover

On saturday night our dance troup went and did a show. Then me and Jenny got droped off at Bayview for Lizzy's birthday party. We got there and watched "Toothless" and ate ice cream and cake in our PJ's. We all went up stairs and made our beds & brushed our teeth. We started to talk for a while the me and Katrina went to sleep. The next day I was awaken by the younger girls gigling. "Oh man! It's only 8:30!" Katrina woke up and said we shuold go to the closet. So we went in there and had our devotions until 9:00. Then we went downstaris and ate breakfast. After we finished eating we had the rest of devotions. Then we played cards for a very long time. About an hour later we went to the park and played "line tag." We all started to get cold so we went home. We ate oranges and talked for like who knows! Anyways around 5:00 my mom and dad came and picked me up. All that too say I had a really fun time thanks for inviting me and Jenny guys!

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Lainey and Oli. A bunch of people came over (people i didn't even know.) Anyways, people came over and played soccer. (Oli's favorite sport.) Then we had a BBQ, sooooo good. Then we played the WII, tennis anyone? Me and Brandy were a team against Chris (a new guy) and Ben. Me and Brandy won, by the skill of Brandy. I suck at tennis, but that is besides the point. We had the best cake and ice cream. (Me and Jenny made the cake, I hope everyone liked it.) It was tons of fun, tho I wish that my friends could of came. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Happy Earth Day

Today was Earth day, so the whole area desided that we should all go to a park. We got there and we were the only ones there besides Bayview. So we just looked at some animals and then there was a show. Some guy was showing some reptiles that were pretty cool. I was having fun looking at lizards and stuff. Then we were going to go and plant trees. We walked down this big hill, and at the botem of the hill there you plant trees. Me and Katrina desided to plant a tree together, so we started digging a hole. We finished planting one tree then we wanted to plant another tree. So we did that, then we were done. We walked back up the hill and did some origami. Then we went home. (I'll try and get some pictures of our trip :D)

Crazy Rain Shower

Today was our wittnesing day and I was on a team. We left the house around 5 P.M. to end at 8 P.M., needless to say we got out of the house. So me, my dad, and Jenny were on a team together. I jumped out of the car and glanced at the sky. I saw this huge dark cloud creeping toward us. I said "Dad do you think that's going to interupt our wittnessing?" My dad answers "Nope." So we walk up to the first house and a man comes out and starts talking to us. Getting quite bored I turn my head to face the street only to get a gust of dirt in my eyes. First I feel one drop, then two , then I tell my dad, "I think it's gona pour." My dad tells the guy that we have to go or we'll get poured on. We run as fast as we can to the car just as the rain is following just behind us. I jump in the car just in time. The wind picks up like crazy so we deside to go home. We had a pretty fun time. Ha!

A Lonely Day

Today was not that great... I was room changing and I was in a bad mood. On top of it Jenny was bugging me. I was just about to get over my trial when I heard there was a teen felowship happing. Oh god! I was feeling so left out, *sigh*. the teens got ready and left while I was making dinner. Then out of the blue (this really made my day) Sue and Sylvia came with thier dad to pick up chicken. I was overjoyed. Love you guys tons!
